Chevy has a range of warranties that protect you against any unforeseen issue with the manufacture or labor that went into building your vehicle. These warranties have limited durations and will eventually expire. Repair costs can add up over time, and Chevy has several different extended warranty programs to protect you against these costs. As your Chevy dealer, we want to tell you more about these options.

Three Plan Options

There are three different plans you can choose from, namely, the powertrain plan, the silver plan, and the platinum plan. In addition, you also have access to a range of additional benefits depending on your choice. You can select the plan duration and the deductible. Let’s take a look at each of these plans in turn.

Powertrain Plan

This is the most basic plan, but it protects your Chevy’s most complex and essential systems. It covers your engine, transmission, and drivetrain. In addition, if you have a hybrid/electric vehicle, its unique components are also covered.

Silver Plan

If you want more bang for your buck, this plan is a great option. It includes everything covered by the powertrain plan and includes protection for your steering, front and rear suspension, climate control, brakes, and electrical system. All the components and systems that are protected are specified in the plan agreement.

Platinum Plan

As the ultimate plan, choosing platinum gives you even more protection. It includes everything in the silver plan and extends protection to your audio, navigation, and high-tech systems. Over 1,500 components are included. Components that are not subject to this plan are itemized in the protection agreement. In addition, this plan is valid for up to eight years/100,000 miles.

Additional Benefits

The benefits below are included in all three plans and can give you extra peace of mind when you need it.

Roadside Assistance

Minor issues can occur, like running out of gas or getting a flat. Assistance is available 24/7/365 to help you with a range of services. like replacing a flat, battery servicing, and lockout assistance. You’re also eligible for a $100 reimbursement for towing if necessary.

Rental Car Coverage

If your car needs a repair covered by the plan, you’re eligible for a $40 reimbursement per day for up to ten days towards a rental car.

Trip Interruption

If your car breaks down more than 100 miles from home and it has to go into the shop, you’re eligible for $200 per day for up to five days for emergency travel expenses.

Choosing a protection plan saves you money and stress, as any necessary repairs will be undertaken by Chevy-trained technicians using original parts. If you’d like to know more details about these plans, visit us today at Bommarito Chevrolet South County in St. Louis, MO.
