Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System

2024 Chevy Safety Assist
This suite of safety programs comes as a standard feature on all 2024 Equinox trims. The suite includes the IntelliBeam automatic headlights that are capable of detecting other traffic and dimming the high beams as a courtesy without your input. The Safety Assist also includes the Forward Collision and Pedestrian alerts that work in tandem with the Auto E-Braking program to alert you of sudden changes ahead and hit the brakes on your behalf to avoid impacts.
The Following Distance Indicator ensures you’re far enough away from other traffic that you’ll have time to react to the unexpected, and the Lane Keep Assist includes a Departure Warning if your SUV crosses over the painted road lines unintentionally.

The Lane Change Alert safety system comes with a supplemental Side Blind Zone Alert. This system is a great way to ensure you’re only making lane-changing maneuvers while it’s safe to do so. Once you put your blinker on, the system will alert you of vehicles in the corresponding side’s blind spot. The available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert program is helpful for situations when you need to reverse onto busy roads.
